City of Port Arthur City Council Meeting Hosted by Legacy Community Development Corporation Legacy Community Development Corporation would appreciate and encourages your participation at May 22nd and May 24th City Council Regular Meetings. Matters concerning Housing in our community will be on the agenda. We need city resident’s participation and support to continue receiving funding for various housing programs like our organization’s downtown revitalization program, Living It Up Downtown. This specific program provides up to $60,000 in down payment assistance toward new construction in a targeted area in downtown Port Arthur. The only way to ensure we continue receiving funding is to show there is a need. Let the board know these programs are important to our the residents of our community by coming out this week and showing support!

Arc Adventures – Movie Night with The Arc May 24, 5pm-10pm This Arc Adventure starts with you getting dropped off at The Arc of Greater Beaumont at 5:00. Transportation will be provided to go to dinner and then a movie. Pickup will be at The Arc building when the movie is over. The cost is $35 per person and includes transportation, dinner and movie ticket. Bring extra money if you would like a snack or drinks at the movie theater.
