9th Annual Butterfly Release, Beaumont The Harbor Foundation will proudly host our 9th Annual Beaumont Butterfly Release on Saturday, April 21st from 11am – 2pm. Held INSIDE the Ford Park Exhibit Hall in Beaumont, Texas, this years event will feature Fun Music, Free Children’s Activities, and Free Food. Butterflies will be released at 1:45pm on the outside lawn. Proceeds from the event will go toward helping hospice patients in our community who have financial needs outside the scope of healthcare. Family Day 5K We are excited to announce our first annual Family Day 5K! This will be a fun day for the entire family! In addition to our 3 races, we will have bounce houses for kids, cotton candy, food and more family fun! We will offer 3 separate races: -Kid’s K! (This will be a short fun run for kids of all ages) -Standard 5k Run/Walk (Anyone can participate no matter your fitness level) -Burden Run 5K ( This will be our version of an extreme race! Keepers of Chaos MC – Cinco de Mayo Fiesta for Forensics Join us for music, fun, food and fiesta as we raise funds to help support Child Abuse Forensic Services, Inc. This awesome organization administers forensic medical exams to patients that have made an outcry of sexual assault and collect evidence from children in a timely manner in a non-threatening facility with no monetary charge to the patient. Because of Hurricane Harvey, their fundraising efforts last year were severely cut. Grand Champion Drive The Grand Champion Drive is an opportunity for special needs students (9-20) to participate in a livestock show designed specifically for them. Students will learn all about different aspects of agriculture from not only how to properly take care of animals to showing them in the ring, but also to explore agriculture through learning from other local organizations. (Texas, Parks, & Wildlife, Stable Spirit, & Many More!) Hardin-Jefferson, Hamshire-Fannett, East Chambers, and Beaumont FFA Chapters have joined forces to sponsor this event so that students will be able to participate in an agriculture adventure. Every student that attends will show an animal with the assistance of volunteers and receive a medal.

33rd Annual Crawfish, Food & Music Festival Boys’ Haven is proud to announce our 33rd Annual Crawfish Food & Music Festival will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, TX. This years’ Festival will have a variety of music from Zydeco & Country to Texas Rock and Oldies but Goodies. The Free Kid’s Area is full of fun inflatables along with a petting zoo and other activities. There will also be a variety of other foods to choose from as well as our amazing Crawfish Box! Since 1985, the Crawfish Festival has been the primary fundraiser for Boys’ Haven, and we hope you will join us this year for a day of great food, music, and entertainment. Beaumont Maypole Festival Bring the entire family to the Beaumont Botanical Gardens for the fourth annual Maypole Festival. There will be something for everyone at this free, all-day celebration featuring live music, dancers, vendors, games and regional cuisine, including The Belly Dance Studio. Don’t miss the wrapping of the Maypole at 4:30 p.m. by Bonnie Cokino’s School of Dance as we bless the crops for a fruitful yield this season. Feel free to bring portable chairs and blankets. Judge James B. Scales Memorial Golf Tournament The Bridge City Chamber will hold the Judge James B. Scales Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Babe Zaharias Golf Course in Port Arthur. Tee time is 8:00 am for this four (4) person scramble. The cost is $60 per player which includes green fees, cart, beverages, food, and door prizes. Mulligans may be purchased for $5 each with a limit of two (2) per player.
