Halloween Party at The Arc of Greater BMT Join The Arc and Women to Women from Lamar University for a fun night of food and dancing!! The Arc Multi-Purpose Building Friday, October 19th 7:00pm – 9:00pm Costumes and fun are encouraged!! For individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 16 and up. Water and popcorn and a light snack will be free. Must have reliable transportation to and from the dance. Although The Arc’s staff and volunteers will be at the dance we do not have the manpower to offer anyone one-on-one assistance. If you need this type of help please make sure you invite a friend or family member to join you.
The Monster Mash: An AMSET Bash! In the spirit of Halloween, AMSET will host its 3rd Annual Monster Mash. This costume party will transform the art museum into a haunted house with live entertainment, tricky treats, and seasonal brews. *This event is for adults 21 & over.* Tickets: Pre-sale – $35 At the door – $40 Tickets can be purchased by visiting amset.org or calling 409-832-3432. This fun family event will include a kids and pets costume contest, Nightmare Before Christmas showing on the lawn, and activities for the kids including a haunted train ride! Pumpkin Walk and Haunted Halloween Tour at John Jay French Museum Get ready for our annual Beaumont Heritage Society Pumpkin Walk and Haunted Halloween Tour taking place on Saturday, October 20th on the grounds of the historic John Jay French Museum from 6 pm – 9 pm! Use your creativity to decorate or carve a pumpkin and enter it in our contest. The “Best” pumpkin in several categories will be selected by ballot and prizes will be awarded, so gather your friends and family to come vote on your favorites! This event will also include a “haunted” tour of the 1845 French home with costumed actors portraying departed French family members, a haunted hay ride of the grounds, and a pumpkin craft for the kids (while they last).
