Vidor Farmer’s Market Kicking off a new Vidor Farmer’s Market . Opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday May 5th. Will continue through the growing season and return seasonally as interest demands. No set closing time initially, leaving that up to vendors. Focus is on locally grown produce and other locally produced fresh food products. No vendor fee. Interested vendors must register in advance. They can stop by the store for information or send an email to [email protected] and we will email necessary information. 7th Free SRS Summer Run/Walk Series – Claiborne Park, Vidor July 16, 7pm-8pm FREE and open to the Public 5K Run/Walk! NO NEED TO REGISTER No event shirts or race bibs Wear proper shoes and sun protection. Adequate water stops on course! CLAIBORNE PARK When you start, Faster runners line up in the front, slower runners in the middle, walkers to the back.  NOTE: This course is CLOSED to Public. Please be courteous and leave the park promptly. Sea Rim Striders have been granted access after hours for this run and must leave the park by 8:30pm. As a general running rule, stay to the right hand side of your lane and share the road. If passing, say ON YOUR LEFT loud enough so the person can hear you. If you wear headphones, keep the volume low enough to remain aware of your surroundings. Stay Hydrated, Be a friendly Runner! Please be courteous to other walkers and joggers, encourage when you can and hang around and cheer them into the finish! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR PETS.
